Focus sectors 2023-2024
The Russian dairy market is defining new opportunities for exhibition sector development. In 2023 DairyTech started developing the following sectors to meet the market needs:

Key opportunities to exhibit in the focus sectors
Large market volume: More than 7700 businesses in Russia are involved in the dairy production segment. All those enterprises will need to modernize their current equipment.
High market potential: Service centers of Japanese, American, and European brands closed their doors to Russian producers. Dairy plants are looking for ways to perform MRO services using comparable/analogic equipment.
DairyTech exhibition already has the visitor’s audience of interested in the equipment of focus sectors.
Now is the right time to establish a business in Russia: expand the customer base, find new partners, and create a dealership network.
Current and forecasted Russian dairy market trends
According to Rosstat, the output of milk in all types of farms in 2022 increased by 4% to 24.65 million tons. Similar dynamics are predicted for 2023.
Government investments in the dairy industry will continue for at least 5-7 years, due to the state support mechanisms – the support budget grew by 7%, such as cost reimbursement for the construction and modernization of farms and reduced-rate lending.
Many Russian dairy product manufacturers confirmed their plans to increase milk output by building livestock breeding units.
Import of dairy products decreased in 2022 by 9% compared to 2021. There is a decrease in the supply of all types of dairy products, except for whey and products based on it. The volume of supplies from Belarus increased by 1% but decreased by 37% from other countries.
