Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation

The Ministry of Agriculture (Minselkhoz) is the federal body responsible for developing and implementing policies and regulations in agriculture and related sectors. Its duties include overseeing livestock farming, veterinary services, crop production, soil fertility, agricultural markets, food processing, tobacco production, and rural development. The ministry also manages farmland policies, monitors agricultural land, provides state services, and oversees state property within its subordinate enterprises and organizations.
